Barbara Sztokfisz

CYBERSEC Programme Director


Barbara has worked in the Kosciuszko Institute since 2017. Before joining the Institute, she worked for the consulting and advisory company dealing with international expansion and cross-border investments with the focus on the CEE market. She is currently CYBERSEC Programme Director and Chief Editor of the European Cybersecurity Journal (ECJ). She is graduate of the International Economics and European Studies at the Cracow University of Economics and French language and literature at the Jagiellonian University. She is also PhD candidate in Economics at the Cracow University of Economics. She studied international economics at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her interests encompass processes of economic change in the context of new technologies, challenges of the ongoing digital industrial revolution, theories of economic growth and international security. She is author of numerous publications in the field of technology and its impact on economies and societies.
